Hi Everyone,
If you’re new here or got forwarded this post, hi, I’m Vadim. I lead a digital health growth fund called Mighty Middle Ventures and organize high impact digital health events workshops in NYC under the Healing Healthtech banner.
I’ve been sending out this monthly events newsletter for years and will continue to do so for a long time to come.
Please take a minute to subscribe or forward to someone new to NYC or digital health who you believe would get value.
📈 How to Raise Your First Priced Round
Tue, Oct 27, 1–5 PM · NoMad, address on approval · Free, approval required
Raising your first priced round is a completely different beast than stacking SAFEs. I’ve come together with Qapita, Gunderson Dettmer, and Mercury to create a half-day bootcamp that will teach you everything you need to know.
Event is free and open to the public. Although my jam is healthcare, the topics apply to founders raising in any domain.
Four sessions in one afternoon: data room and cap table hygiene, finding and closing your first institutional investor, term sheet language, then a VC panel with Mat Kaliski (Acronym Venture Capital), Brian Laung Aoaeh (REFASHIOND Ventures) and Owen Willis (Opal Ventures). Presented with Qapita, Gunderson Dettmer and Mercury. Ten founders get picked to stay for a private session afterward.
